Storybooking
Fumbles, Forgiveness, Fun and <new> Friends!
Many thanks to Cindy, Patti, Kay and Marybeth; my first Storybooking students! We had a two-hour class on the boundless features of My Memories Software followed by a hands-on individual session where each student worked at their own pace and created their specific projects. Thanks for your FORGIVENESS as I FUMBLED through the first session and thanks for being my guinea pigs. I had lots of FUN, and I hope you did too! I am looking forward to all the new FRIENDS I will make through these classes!
What a WONDERFUL time to share the fun and learn how much I DIDN’T know about this extraordinary software. Check it out: MyMemories.com
According to Google - Most people only use a small fraction of a software program's features; studies suggest that users interact with only about 20% of available features, while up to 80% are rarely or never used. This is often referred to as the 80/20 rule, and it means that the majority of features developed are not utilized by the average user, contributing to complexity without adding value.
You guys asked AWESOME questions and made me do some research. Here is what YOU taught me:
Marybeth – Every class is going to be different & UNIQUE because the students are.
Patti – Just because I like things SYMMETRICAL, doesn’t mean everybody does.
Cindy – I have never used the PAINT feature – Let’s find out what it does.
Kay – Make the individual session about what the STUDENT wants to learn.
Special thanks to Shenom, the Customer Service Contact at My Memories Suite csr@mymemories.com, who gave me quick responses to my requests and who is undoubtedly going to be my BEST FRIEND or get REAL SICK of me in the months to come.
Today, I am thankful to God for bringing new friends into my life.
